Humans Who Shed Their Skin: Understanding Singularity of Consciousness

Who are we? A better question to ask is who would we be if we decided to shed our skin? We are all aware that humans shed a few flakes of skin here and there. But what if we could peel it all off in one shot, like it was a dirty sock? What if we could shed our bodies in much the same way a snake sheds its skin? We would be able to get rid of a whole bunch of labels that cling to us like bacteria. We would be able to get rid of a great deal of inferiority complexes and titles that have eaten away at us like a parasite. Hell, we would be able to get rid of all the things that we hate most about ourselves. But still, who would we be? We would be everyone.
