DENVER (AP) ? Metropolitan State College of Denver is considering a tuition cut for illegal-immigrant students. The proposal being considered by an advisory board on Wednesday would cut rates by more than half. According to the Denver Post (http://bit.ly/NCWy7o ), students would have to prove they are high school graduates and have lived in the state for at least three years. The rate would still be higher than the rates for instate students. Colorado lawmakers rejected a similar proposal earlier this year. ___ Information from: The Denver Post, http://www.denverpost.com
