It?s not sleet, but dogs that keep postmen from Lazy Spring Acres

The U.S. Postal Service has halted delivery for a second time in the Lazy Spring Acres subdivision in northwest Houston because of dog attacks on letter carriers, KHOU-TV reports on its website. The U.S. Postal Service says a dog named ?Duke? has bitten two carriers, three times, in the last two years. Residents said they are not happy about having to go the post office to get their mail. ?So now they?ve decided to punish the whole neighborhood. They?re not delivering mail. And I feel like this is discriminating against the entire neighborhood,? Peggy Schultea said. One of the carriers has filed suit against the dog owner, KHOU reports.
