Hamlin fastest in Daytona 500 test
Denny Hamlin set the fastest lap of the day as NASCAR Sprint Cup teams began testing for the Daytona 500 in their new-for-2013 Gen-6 cars. Hamlin's 195.712mph pace came during a brief session of pack running with his Joe Gibbs Toyota team-mates Matt Kenseth and Kyle Busch, plus Michael Waltrip Racing's Mark Martin. Kenseth had been quickest during single-car runs in the morning, lapping at an average of 192.757mph
